FashionAid Foundation was born from the vision of Anne Kubai, a passionate fashion enthusiast with a deep love for Kenya's rich creative culture. Anne's journey began with a profound observation — the striking contrast between the immense creative talent of Kenyan artisans and the harsh economic realities they endured daily.
Her early efforts to bridge this gap took shape when she began selling Kenyan-designed clothes in Switzerland, giving local artisans international exposure and a source of income. This initiative grew organically into something far greater than trade — it became a movement. Anne recognized that fashion could be more than style; it could be a powerful catalyst for social and economic transformation.
From those humble beginnings, FashionAid Foundation took shape — an organization dedicated to harnessing the power of fashion to restore dignity, support education, build sustainable livelihoods, and empower communities to rise above adversity with creativity and resilience.
